Privacy Policy

Dawkins Consulting LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, respects your privacy. “Get Sponsored” and “Lancaster AI Guy” are brand names under which we market and deliver our service. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to ask us to remove it.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to two groups:
- Customers — people who sign up for and pay for the Get Sponsored service.
- Prospects — local businesses we send cold-outreach emails to on behalf of our customers.
2. What we collect — customers
When you become a customer, we collect:
- Onboarding info: newsletter name, website, subscriber count, publishing cadence, niche, geographic target, your name, phone number, Calendly link (if provided), and your email address.
- Payment metadata from Stripe: the Stripe customer ID and subscription ID. We do not see or store your credit card number — Stripe handles that directly.
- Dashboard usage: when you log in, which leads you mark as won/lost, replies you send through the in-app composer.
- Sending infrastructure data: the domains you select for sending, the inboxes we provision under those domains, warming scores from Instantly.
3. What we collect — prospects
To run cold-email outreach for our customers, we collect business contact data about local businesses likely to advertise in the customer's newsletter:
- Business name, address, phone, website, category, decision-maker name and title, decision-maker email address (verified before send).
- Public signals about the business (recent news mentions, hiring posts, permit filings, social activity) used to score relevance.
- Email engagement: opens, clicks, replies, bounces (returned by Instantly).
This data is sourced from publicly available web pages (business directories, company websites, LinkedIn public profiles, government records) and is verified for deliverability via MillionVerifier before use.
4. Why we collect it
- Customers: to deliver the service you paid for, send you account emails (magic link, billing, important changes), and improve the product.
- Prospects:to send the customer's sponsorship pitch on their behalf, track which messages got replies, and stop sending when the recipient indicates they don't want further messages.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share what we have to with service providers acting on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
- Instantly — email sending infrastructure (instantly.ai/privacy).
- MillionVerifier — email address verification (millionverifier.com/privacy-policy).
- Google Workspace — transactional email delivery and internal storage (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Railway — application hosting and database storage (railway.com/legal/privacy).
- Anthropic — AI features such as lead scoring and reply intent classification (anthropic.com/legal/privacy). We do not send personally identifiable customer payment data to these models.
We will disclose data if compelled by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect against fraud or abuse. We'll notify you unless legally prohibited.
6. How long we keep it
- Customer accounts: for the life of your subscription, plus 12 months after cancellation for billing records and tax purposes.
- Prospect contact data:for the life of the customer's account, then deleted within 90 days of customer cancellation. Bounced, unsubscribed, or suppressed contacts are retained on a do-not-contact list indefinitely so we don't re-email them.
- Email content: Instantly retains sent and received messages per its own policy. We mirror reply metadata in our dashboard for as long as the campaign exists.
7. Cold email compliance (CAN-SPAM)
Every outreach email sent on behalf of a customer includes:
- An accurate “From” address on the customer's sending domain.
- A truthful subject line.
- The customer's physical business address.
- A clear unsubscribe option (reply “stop” or similar).
When a prospect asks to be removed, we add them to the global suppression list and they are not contacted again, by us or by other Get Sponsored customers, ever.
8. Your rights
You can request:
- Access — a copy of the data we have about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate data.
- Deletion — remove your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Export — download your lead list in CSV form before cancellation.
- Opt out— if you are a prospect who has received email from us, reply with “stop” or email collin@lancasteraiguy.com and we'll suppress your address immediately.

9. Security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Application secrets are stored as environment variables in Railway, not in code. Database backups are encrypted. We follow industry-standard practices but cannot guarantee perfect security; you use the service at your own risk. We will notify affected customers within 72 hours of discovering any breach involving customer data.
10. Children
Get Sponsored is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.
11. International users
Get Sponsored is operated from the United States. By using the service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the US. If you are subject to GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), the rights described in Section 8 cover the protections those laws guarantee.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll email customers at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
